Old Sun Microsystems Title: Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJD) SE 6
This certification is for experienced Java programmers. It allows developers to display advanced knowledge and prowess using Java SE. There are two part:
- Assignment: A project is downloaded which requires candidates to solve a developer problem by writing Java code. The criteria looked at are general design, code, and documentation
- Exam: An essay is required that outlines your choices in an implementation project and explains why the choices have been made comparing them to alternatives.
