Java SE 7 Update 9 Released

Java SE 7 Update 9 (and the corresponding Java SE 6 Update 37) are available to download from Oracle's Java download page.

If you're wondering why there was no Java SE 7 Update 8 the release numbers were increased by one to conform with pattern of previous release numbers - odd numbers indicating critical patch releases and even numbers as limited update releases.

So, it should come as no surprise that looking at the release notes this is a bug fix release including 30 security fixes - see the Oracle Java SE Critical Patch Update Advisory for details.
