JavaOne Technical Sessions and Blogging Contest

Tuesday June 9, 2009

Now that JavaOne has finished for another year, I've been looking to see how much information is online about the technical sessions. On the homepage of the official JavaOne site you'll find links to all the conference articles – basically a review of what each session was about. And, if you flick across to the Sun Developer Network there are PDF files that contain the slides for each technical session. To access them you'll need to be a member of the developer network (it's free to join). I suspect in the near future there will also be audio and transcripts of the sessions available there too.

It turns out that there's also a blogging contest. If you have a blog and were planning to share what you've learned from the technical sessions (either because you were there or from reading the articles and files linked above) then why not enter the contest as well? All you have to do is submit your blog url before June 24th, 2009. The top ten bloggers win US$300 American Express Gift Cards.
