Poll: How Excited Are You About JavaFX?

Thursday November 27, 2008

I noticed yesterday that the JavaFX website has now got the official release date posted. JavaFX is due to be released on December 4th - a couple of days later than the initial announcement I heard.

With the first official release just a week away I'm interested with just how excited you are:

How can you use it for a project if there is not a recommended version for application development ???

The JavaFX preview SDK is not for use in commercial applications because it’s anticipated there will be a lot of changes in the first official release. However, what it does do is give developers an insight into its capabilities so that they can earmark current (or future) projects that will benefit. There will be developers out there waiting on v1.0 for a project they are working on.
