JavaFX and Project Nile

Thursday September 18, 2008

Today I thought I would stop by the JavaFX website to see what's going on. If you haven't had a look at JavaFX yet there is a very cool looking Swirling Squares sample to give you a feel of what can be done and the JavaFX FAQ is worth reading to get a bit of a head's up. It certainly sounds like JavaFX release 1.0 will be out soon. As always if you can't wait there's a preview version all ready to go.

One interesting video I did come across was about Project Nile, showing how easy it is for designers to work with developers when using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
